    Hello Everyone,

I would like to introduce the UNB Undergraduate Conditional Admission Policy to you.

We are frequently asked how to apply for conditional admission to a program at UNB. We’d like to take this opportunity to clarify our conditional admission policy and walk you through the process of obtaining a conditional admission.

Students may be granted conditional admission to certain undergraduate programs without submitting an English language proficiency test score. The application process is the exact same for students who are granted admission to UNB and students who are granted conditional admission to UNB. Students who are conditionally admitted to UNB are not required to submit an additional application to Saint John College (UNB Saint John) or the English Language Programme (UNB Fredericton).

Please note – There is no conditional admission policy for Graduate Studies at UNB.

Students who are conditionally admitted to an undergraduate program at UNB will write an English language placement test upon arrival. Students who pass the test are permitted to begin their academic program; however, students who do not meet the minimum academic requirement score on the test will be required to study English as a Second Language at UNB Fredericton or UNB Saint John.

For more information about English Language policies at UNB, please visit: www.unb.ca/prospective/international/AdmissionsRequirementsEnglishLanguageProficiencyRequirements.html

You are always welcome to contact the International Recruitment Centre at UNB with your questions, comments and concerns.
